TMP Worldwide Announces New Additions to Western Canada Team

New York - February 13th, 2009 - TMP Worldwide Advertising & Communications, the largest independent recruitment advertising agency, today announced several appointments in Western Canada.

Rod Honig, VP and Creative Director

Rod was educated at the University of Manitoba, York University, George Brown College and Richland College. He has been in the advertising industry for over fifteen years and just recently was creative director at Highwood Communications in Calgary. As both a copywriter and senior art director in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary, Rod has produced creative in a multitude of mediums for many blue-chip clients. This list is comprised of clientele such as Georgia Pacific, Reebok, Foster Parents Plan, Starbucks, 3M, Nokia, GlaxoSmithKline, Dairy Queen, Playtex, Canon, Suzuki, P&G, E*Trade, Subway, AMAZON.ca, Translink, Toyota, Travel Alberta and Husky. Much of his work has been presented nationally and internationally. His campaigns have received accolades from the Art Director's Club of Canada and been featured in Applied Arts. Rob will be based in Calgary and will report to Wayne Burns, SVP for Canada and South East Asia.

Tracy Kapteyn, Director, Client Strategy

Tracy joins TMP as Director, Client Strategy in Calgary. In this new role, Tracy will be responsible for driving organic growth as well as developing and executing retention plans for our key clients. She will also assist our New Business Development team in securing new business in the Prairies.

Tracy has over 15 years experience in a number of fast-paced, technologically sophisticated environments having led marketing teams in the cellular, wireless data and wireless internet markets at both TELUS and Bell Mobility. Most recently, she was responsible for the planning and execution of Molson Canada's brand promotions and events in the West. Tracy will report to Wayne Morishita RVP for Western Canada.

Scott Turner, Director, Business Development — Western Canada

TMP is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Turner as Director, Business Development for Western Canada. Scott has worked in the advertising industry for close to a decade. For the last five years, he has focused on recruitment advertising working with TMP in Sydney, Australia and Toronto.

Having graduated from the University of Canberra, with a BA Hons in Communications, he has a great understanding of global hiring challenges and regularly speaks at recruitment, educational marketing, and advertising industry conferences. His breadth of interactive expertise and account management experience will be a valuable asset for the Western Region.

Robert Martinelli, Digital Strategist, Western Canada

Rob joins TMP as Digital Strategist for Western Canada. Rob will be based in Calgary and will work with clients to design and develop comprehensive interactive employment marketing, communications and recruitment strategies. Rob has significant industry experience. He has helped companies add measurably to their internet candidate pools and developed strategies and tactics designed to increase traffic and online search rankings. He has negotiated online job board buys with the major boards as well as niche and industry specific sites, consulted on ATS selection and led the design and development of career based internet sites. He has also facilitated job broadcast tools for a variety of clients and created internet marketing strategies specific to web/candidate targeting.
